Staying at the hotel felt almost like a little cottage retreat with access to the outside in the courtyard. The rooms were furnished beautifully in the same style as the main hotel, with complimentary toiletries, bathrobes, and other special touches. The service was attentive and polite, anticipating our needs without being overbearing. The location, surrounded by exquisite gardens and close to lovely walks to the lake, was just a few minutes away from York city center. The dining experience was among the best, offering a rich menu, and the setting was perfect for a relaxing stroll around the gardens. The facilities were well-maintained and added to the overall experience.
